Editzi ("we", "us" or "our") is the company behind editzi.com (the "Site"). This Privacy
Policy outlines the ways in which we gather, use, share, and safeguard your personal
information whenever you make use of our video editing services. By choosing to
use Editzi services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the
terms set out in this Privacy Policy.

1. Services Provided

We provide professional video editing services as per the project scope agreed upon
in writing. Any additional work outside the original scope will be charged separately.

2. Project Scope

Projects will be executed strictly based on the submitted brief. Major changes
to the project's direction post submission may be treated as a new project.

3. Payment Terms

  • · Full payment must be made before final project delivery unless otherwise agreed.
  • · For renewals or add-on services (extra edits, longer versions), payment will be required upfront.
  • · Advance payments are non-refundable once editing work has begun.

4. Footage Retention

All raw footage and project files will be stored for up to 1 month after project completion.
After this period, they will be permanently deleted unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Video Purchase Validity

Purchased video credits must be used within 1 month of
purchase. Unused credits will expire and require renewal.

6. Turnaround Time

  • · The first draft is typically shared within 48hours after receiving all required footage and creative input.
  • · Revisions are completed within 24-48 hours after receiving feedback.
  • · Unforeseen delays (technical issues, missing assets, etc.) will be communicated in advance.

7. Revisions and Changes

  • · Additional revisions will incur extra charges as per standard revision rates
  • · Revisions do not include major restructuring or new creative direction

8. Delivery & Specifications

  • · Standard video length is up to 40-70 seconds. Longer edits or alternate formats (e.g., multiple aspect ratios) may incur additional fees.
  • · Videos will be delivered in the agreed format (vertical, square, YouTube, etc.) via Google Drive, Frame.io, or email.

9. Communication Policy

  • · For one-off projects, communication will be via email.
  • · For bulk/retainer clients (10+ videos), real-time communication (Slack/WhatsApp) can be arranged.
  • · Feedback is expected within 3 business days of draft delivery. Delayed feedback may impact timelines and incur rush charges.

10. Confidentiality (NDA)

We guarantee that all footage, content, and project details will be treated as confidential.
Work may only be used for our portfolio unless client requests otherwise in writing.

11. Scheduling & Queues

  • · For unlimited/monthly plans, only one active project is processed at a time.
  • · Clients may queue up to 30 projects per month, which will be delivered sequentially.

12. What's Not Included

  • · Thumbnail design, ad copywriting, and scriptwriting are not included unless separately agreed.
  • · Extremely urgent same-day edits may incur a rush fee, subject to availability.

13. Cancellation & Refunds

  • - Once editing has commenced, cancellations are non-refundable.
  • - If a project is canceled before editing begins, refunds (if any) are subject to a cancellation fee.

14. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for copyright claims related to footage, music, or materials provided by the client.
Our responsibility is limited to editing services only.
